The Certification II in Parks and Gardens is designed to help participants meet job outcomes at their current or future places of work. The course duration will vary depending on your experience, skills and chosen study mode. As a guide:
- Workshop: 2 – 3 months
- Fee for service: 3-6 months subject to the amount of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) awarded and subsequent Gap Training required
Your skills will be assessed through a mix of practical and theory tasks. This is essentially showing us what you’ve learnt during your Certificate II and how you do it. This is to be sure that you know how to meet the job outcomes of someone who has completed the nationally recognised qualification no matter where you work in Australia.
Theory from your core subjects and elective units may be assessed Online or via Workbook. Practical Assessment will be conducted at your place of work or worksite with the fit for purpose facilities and equipment which are to be made available to your FTA trainer & Assessor for training and assessment purposes.
